About
The Fighter’s Cup is our annual knockdown and semi-knockdown tournament held in the spring. Semi-knockdown is a two minute match where light, foam pads are required. Knockdown does not use pads. For young kids a chest protector and headgear along with pads are required.
To score points a half-point is awarded for a technique that momentarily stuns the opponent and a full point for a knockdown. If no point is awarded during the two minute round, the referee and corner judges will make a decision(Hantei 判定) to either award a victory or declare a draw which sends the fight into overtime.
